Obituary of Edward "Crime" Gallant

December 13, 1932 - March 1, 2025 With broken hearts, the family announce the passing of Edward “Crime” Gallant of Le Chez-Nous, Wellington, and formerly of Abram-Village, on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, at the age of 92 years. Born in Summerside, he was the loving husband of Célina Gallant (née Arsenault), and beloved son of the late Phillip and Edna Gallant. Edward was raised by the late Félix and Évéline Gallant of Abram-Village. Edward is survived by his daughters: Edna (Michel), Monique (Paul), Yvonne (Lars) and Dianne (Robbie). His brother Gary (Karen) and sister Anna (Eric – deceased). He will forever be remembered by his grandchildren: Patrice, Debra and Jacqueline. Also, by his brothers and sisters-in-law; Marguerite (Amand), Oliver (Alphonsine), Edgar (Eva), Freda (Pat), Vicky (Maynard) and Mae. Predeceased by his parents-in-law Élizée and Théodosie Arsenault; by his brothers and sisters: Syl (Marie), Leola, Joey (Lucille), Ella (Murray), Martina (Albert) as well as children in infancy and at a young age; by his in-laws: Honoré, Tilmon, Donat (Vitaline), Amand (Rita), Regis, Arsène (Julie Anne), Alfred (Alice), Phil (Ella), Irénée (Lorraine) and Gérard (Kay). Resting at the Évangéline Funeral Home, 900 Route 124, Urbainville, PE, for visiting hours on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Saint-Philippe and Saint-Jacques Church, Egmont Bay on Thursday, March 6, 2025 at 2 p.m. Interment in the parish cemetery at a later date. Please refrain from wearing scents. Memorial donations in Edward’s memory made to Le Chez-Nous or to the Prince County Hospital Foundation will be greatly appreciated.
