The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital on Thursday, March 13, 2025, of Léo Joseph Arsenault at the age of 92 years. Léo was presently residing in Summerside.

Born on October 12, 1932, Léo was the son of Dolore and Marianne Arsenault of St. Hubert.

Predeceased by his loving wife Germaine (Gallant), Léo leaves to mourn his son David (Tammy) and grand-daughters Kate and Madelaine of Dartmouth, NS., his brother Johnny (Azèle) Arsenault of Summerside, and his brother-in-law and sister-in-law Edmond and Zita Gallant of Mont-Carmel. Léo was a kind and gentle man who will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Léo was also predeceased by his parents Dolore and Marianne, his sisters Rita (Leonard) Gaudet, Roséline (Alphie) Gallant, Mary (Raymond) Giles, as well as sister Madeleine and brother Raymond (in infancy); his parents-in-law Augustin and Nélida Gallant, and his sister-in-law Della (Gérard) Arsenault.

Resting at the Évangeline Funeral Home, Urbainville, for visitation on Tuesday, March 18, from 6 to 9 pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Paul’s Church, Summerside, on Wednesday, March 19, at 2:00 pm. Interment in the Our Lady of Mont-Carmel parish cemetery at a later date.
