The death occurred at the Halifax Infirmary in Halifax, NS on Tuesday, July 22, 2025 of Wilfred Joseph Arsenault of Urbainville, PE, beloved husband of the late Diane Arsenault, at the age of 75 years. Wilfred was born on March 3, 1950 to his parents, the late Sylvere and Marguerite (née Poirier) Arsenault of Urbainville.

Wilfred is survived by his loving children: Erma, Stephane (Sharlene) of Urbainville and Alain (Rhonda) of Alberta. He will lovingly be remembered by his grandchildren: Briana, Byron, Brooklynn and Braelyann; be sadly missed by his brothers and sisters: Arthur (Simone), Aldona (Michel), Gerard, Rose (Pierre) and Urbain (Glenda – deceased); by brothers and sister-in-law: Robert (Eileen), Melvin (Carol), Tilmon (Dorothy), Linda (Roger), Glenn, Muriel, Christine; and by numerous nephew and nieces.

Predeceased by his parents Sylvere and Marguerite Arsenault, by his parents-in-law William and Yvonne Arsenault; by his brothers and sisters: Roger, Paul, Peter, Ella, Cyril, Cécile, Rena; by his brothers and sister-in-law; Bernadette (Melvin) and Francis.

Resting at the Évangéline Funeral Home, 900 Route 124, Urbainville, for visitations on Monday, July 28 from 12:30 to 1:30 pm followed by a service at the funeral home at 1:30 pm for family and friends. Interment in the Saint-Philippe et Saint-Jacques Parish Cemetery, Egmont Bay, will follow the service.
