Obituary of Eva Marie Arsenault

April 12, 1954 – August 18, 2025 With heavy hearts, the family of Eva Marie Arsenault announces her peaceful passing on Monday, August 18, 2025, at the Prince County Hospital in Summerside, PE, at the age of 71. Born on April 12, 1954, Eva was the beloved wife of Edgar Arsenault of Urbainville, and the cherished daughter of the late Herman and Thérèse (Geneau) Arsenault of St-Chrysostome. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, Eva touched the lives of many with her kindness, warmth, and unwavering love for her family. She leaves behind her loving children: Eddy (Randi Marchand) Arsenault, Eric Arsenault, and Elaina (Patrick Ramsay) Arsenault; her grandchildren Jesse (Victoria) Arsenault and Hailey (Kyle) Ross; and great-grandchildren Maise and Rowan. Eva will be fondly remembered by her brother Ernest Arsenault, and sisters: Celine (Raymond) Arsenault, Mary (Ernest) Campbell, Rosalie (Benny) Coughlin, Dorise Strand, Gloria (John) Johnston, and Leona (Jack) Brown. She will also be lovingly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends. She is also survived by her brother-in-law Oliver (Alphonsine) Arsenault, and sisters-in-law: Freda Bernard (Pat Albert), Celina (late Edward) Gallant, Marguerite (Amand) Arsenault, Victoria Arsenault (Maynard Ramsay), and Mae Arsenault. Eva was predeceased by her parents Herman and Thérèse Arsenault; her parents-in-law Élizé and Théodosie Arsenault; her brother Gavin (April 2025); and her brothers and sisters-in-law: Iréné (Lorraine), Amand (Rita), Arsène (Julie Anne), Donat (Vitaline), Phil (Ella), Laurie (Mélina), Alfred (Alice), Regis, Tilmon, and Gérard (Kay). Resting at the Évangéline Funeral Home, 900 Route 124, Urbainville, PE, for visitation on Monday, August 25, 2025, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., followed by interment in the Saint-Philippe et Saint-Jacques Parish Cemetery in Egmont Bay. In lieu of flowers, donations in Eva’s memory may be made to the Cancer Society, and would be deeply appreciated by the family.
