Obituary of Martin Gallant

December 10, 1941 ~ October 25, 2025 The death occurred peacefully at the Atlantic Baptist Nursing Home, Charlottetown, PE, on Saturday, October 25, 2025 of Martin (Frenchie) Gallant, formerly of St Chrysostome, PE, at the age of 83. Born on December 10, 1941, he was the son of the late Theodore and Denise (nee Arsenault) Gallant of St Chrysostome and beloved friend of Darlene Tighe and Reg McKenna. He is survived by his sons David and Marc of Ontario Martin is also survived by sisters and brothers, Sophie Richard, Theresa Bonnanfant, Peter and Augustin. He was predeceased by his parents and by his sisters Julie Anne Arsenault, Marie Anne Gallant, and brothers Antony, Arthur, Joe, and Andrew. Resting at the Évangéline Funeral Home, 900 Route 124, Urbainville, PE until Saturday, November 1, 2025, then to the St. Philippe et St. Jacques Parish Cemetery, Egmont Bay, for a graveside service and committal at 10 a.m. Please note: There will be no visiting hours, however, everyone is invited to the graveside service.
