Obituary of Faustin Gallant

June 11, 1935 ~ November 12, 2025 It is with sadness in our hearts that we announce the passing of Faustin Gallant on November 12, 2025 at the South Shore Villa, Crapaud and formerly of Abram-Village at the age of 90 years. Born on June 11, 1935, Faustin was the cherished husband of the late Eveline Gallant (née Arsenault) and beloved son of the late Jaddus and Beatrice (née Richard) Gallant of Cape Egmont. Faustin will be forever loved and missed by his children: Donna (Patrick) McMillan, Ed (Janine) Gallant, Dan (Marianne) Gallant, Brenda (Bob) Seltzer; and predeceased by his son Kenny. He will be dearly missed by his sister Marguerite (Joe) Gallant; and will always be remembered by his grandchildren: Julia, angel Laura, Scott, Brad (Jade), Corieen, Jaimee, Nikki and chosen granddaughter Rea; also, by great granddaughter Olive and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his wife Eveline, his parents Jaddus & Beatrice, son Kenny, granddaughter Laura, brother Clair (Aline) Gallant and by his in-laws of the Joe Tannis family. Faustin, also known as Foster, loved playing his guitar and singing country music. He enjoyed playing cards and teasing anyone who could take it. Resting at the Évangéline Funeral Home, 900 Route 124, Urbainville, PE, for visitations on Monday, November 17, 2025 from 1 to 2 p.m. followed by a Celebration of Life at 2:15 p.m. Interment will follow the Celebration of Life in the Saint-Philippe et Saint-Jacques Parish Cemetery, Egmont Bay. After the interment, everyone is invited to a luncheon at 4 p.m. at the Village musical acadien, 1745 Route 124, Abram-Village, PE. Donations made in memory of Faustin to the Prince County Hospital Foundation will be greatly appreciated.
