Born in Mont-Carmel, PE on May 27th, 1930, son of the late Jean and Marieanne (Cormier) Richard, Antoine was the youngest of eight children and the last surviving member of his family. A man deeply devoted to his family and his community. Respected among Acadians, francophones and anglophones, he dedicated his life to serving, uniting and supporting those he loved. His caring presence and strong sense of duty will leave a lasting impact. His respect and kindness extended to everyone he met, values he lived by and instilled in his family. Above all, Antoine’s greatest joy was his family. He loved gathering with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren for good food, storytelling, and laughter. His words of wisdom will continue to guide us all.
