Obituary of Joseph "Wayne" Arsenault

June 28, 1957 ~ January 4, 2025 The death occurred peacefully at Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Sunday, January 4, 2026, of Joseph “Wayne” Arsenault of Miscouche, in his 69th year. He was the son of the late Albert and Anita (Richard) Arsenault of Wellington. Wayne is survived by his loving siblings: Cecile Ellis; Lorraine (Melvin) Gallant; Albert Jr. (Mona) Arsenault; Nola (Ivy) Noye; Anne (Shaun) Fitzgerald; Melvin Arsenault; Jean-Louis (Jennifer) Arsenault; and Richard (Carla) Arsenault. Wayne was predeceased by his parents; his sister, Adrienne Ferrish; and his brother, Billy Arsenault; his brothers-in-law, Donnie Ferrish, Walter LeClair, Jimmie Ellis, and Blair Compton; and his sister-in-law, Anne (Bernard) Arsenault. Wayne was also predeceased by his cat, Boots, who was always by his side. Wayne will be dearly missed by his aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, cousins, and his many friends. Please note: As per Wayne’s wishes, there will be no visitation hours or funeral service. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Donations in Wayne’s memory may be made to the Prince County Hospital Foundation or a charity of your choice.
