It is with profound sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of Rhéal Joseph Arsenault of Summerside and formerly of Abram Village, at the Saint John Regional Hospital in New Brunswick.
Rhéal was a good, kind, and patient soul, always attentive to the needs of others. He was a top-notch mechanic, passionate musician, known for his fantastic bass playing, and sound technician. He would be found either performing or perfecting sound for many artists at events in P.E.I. but most frequently in his native Evangeline area. He also loved riding his motorcycle.
He will be missed and remembered with love by his long-time partner and best friend Melissa Squarebriggs, his children Rémi (Caroline) and Priscille (Gary) his precious grand children, Riel, Benoît, Maxime, Céline, Chantelle & Liam and the mother of his children, Monique Arsenault.
His will also be missed by his brothers Raymond (Yvonne), Gérald (Pat), Jacques (Sylvie Toupin, deceased), sisters Marie-Anne (Reggie, deceased), Priscille (Armand), Léonie (Clarence), Julia and sister-in-law Lucille, as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents Arthur J.B. Arsenault and Josephine Gallant and his siblings Angèle, Sister Marie, Eunice, Rose, Pierre and Robert.
