Obituary of Arsenault, Maurice Joseph

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Maurice (Mo) Joseph Arsenault age 50 years, at home in Charlottetown, on Saturday May 19th, 2018 formerly of St. Chrysostome. Born in Summerside on November 22, 1967 son of the late Leonard and Claudette Arsenault. Maurice will be forever remembered by his loving sisters Maria (Dave) Kelly and Francine (Guy) Arsenault. He is survived by nephews and niece Matthew, Myranda, Tyler, Nathan and Miguel. Step-father Edward, step-sisters and step-brother Marlene (Paul) Gaudet, Gail (Roger) Brun and Jason (Audrey) Arsenault. Resting at the Evangeline Co-op Funeral Home, Urbainville until Thursday May 24th, which Maurice family will receive friends and family from 9:30 a.m. until funeral service at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will take place in the St. Philippe and St. Jacques Church Cemetery Egmont Bay. If you would like to send a message of condolence to Maurice's family please email to: evangelinefuneralcoop@pei.aibn.com The largely attending funeral service for Maurice (Mo) Joseph Arsenault of Charlottetown and formerly of St. Chrysostome, son of the late Leonard and Claudette Arsenault was held on Thursday May 24th, in the Evangeline Co-op Funeral Home Chapel, Urbainville at 11:00 a.m., with Fr. Michel Painchaud who proclaimed the gospel, delivered the homily and read the prayers of the final commitment and farewell. The reading was read by Maria Kelly and she also delivered the prayers of the faithful. The urn was carried by Alfred Arsenault friend of Maurice (Mo). Flower bearers were Mo sisters Francine Arsenault and Maria Kelly. Francine did a lovely eulogy before the service. Pat the Elephant, S'side Taxes Center and Home Care Nurses attended the funeral service in groups. Interment took place in the St. Philippe and St. Jacques Church Cemetery with Fr. Michel Painchaud officiating.
