Obituary of Broome, Richard

The death occurred peacefully with his family by his side at Prince County Hospital, Summerside on Monday May 14, 2018 of Richard (Sonny) Broome age 77 years. He was born on April 16, 1941 son of the late Banford and Daisy (Murphy) Broome. Sonny is survived by his loving daughter Harriet (Chris Tonge), brothers and sisters: Donnie (Heather), Helen, Kenny (Peggy), Louie (Barb), Mary (Roger DesRoches) also lovingly remembered by grandchildren Voula Tertsakian (Cory Perry) and Judy Tertsakian (Jeffery Gaudet), 6 great grandchildren, Aunt Eleanor (Toronto) and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded by his parents, his wifes Phyllis, Patricia, Gloria, sisters Carol and Betty, infant children Richard and Judy, brother-in-laws Peter Coughlin and Reigh Ford and Special Mom Ethel Murphy. Resting at Evangeline Co-op Funeral Home, Urbainville. Visitation on Thursday May 17th, from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. Funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 3:00 pm Friday May 18 internment to follow at Conway-Bideford United Church Cemetery In lieu of flowers, donations to funeral expenses would be greatly appreciated.
