Obituary of Gallant, Norman Joseph
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Norman Gallant, peacefully surrounded by his loving family at Prince County Hospital, Summerside on Wednesday April 11th ,2018 age 92 years from Le Chez-Nous Ltd. Norman was born on August 7th, 1925 to his late parents Aubin J.L. and Sylvina (nee Bernard) Gallant.
Also cherished and forever in the hearts of his brothers and sisters Léona (Adolphe) Eliza (Euclide), Matt, Paul (Théresa), sister-in-law Cécile, Louise and Anna. He also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
Predeceased by brothers and sisters Théodore, Amand, Nélida, Jéanne, Aline, Edgar, Alfred, Léo and Eric.
Resting at the Evangeline Co-op Funeral Home, Urbainville until Monday April 16th ,then to St. Philippe and St. Jacques Church, Egmont Bay for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment to take place in the Church cemetery at a later date. Visiting hours on Monday April 16 from 9:00 to 10:00 only.
In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Philippe and St. Jacques Church Cemetery Fund in Norman's memory would be greatly appreciated.

Norman Gallant
The funeral for Norman Gallant son of the late Aubin J.L. and Sylvina (nee Bernard) Gallant of Le Chez-Nous, Wellington was held on Monday April 16th from the Evangeline Co-op Funeral Home, Urbainville to St. Philippe and St. Jacques Church, Egmont Bay. The funeral mass was celebrated by Fr. Michel Painchaud who proclaimed the gospel, delivered the homily and read the prayers of the final commitment and farewell assisted by Fr. Eddie Cormier. The readings were proclaimed by Norman's sister-in-law, Thérèsa Gallant who also addressed the prayers of the faithful. The urn was carried by Norman's brother Paul Gallant. Flower bearer was Thelma Bernard. The cross bearer was Jean Paul Gallant and the candle bearers were Roger Gallant and Maurice Gallant. Eucharistic ministers were Aldine Huot and Roger Arsenault. The community Church choir was under the direction of Jeannita Bernard, organist was Debbie Rouselle Montgomery. Interment will take place in the Church cemetery at a later date.
