Obituary of Arsenault, Denis Pierre
It is with heavy hearts that we share the sudden and unexpected passing of Denis Pierre Arsenault on January 25th, 2023, in Toronto, Ontario. Born on February 13th, 1983, in Summerside, Prince Edward Island, Denis is the son of Colette Arsenault and Amand (Joanne LeBlanc) Arsenault. Cherished brother to Janelle (Evan McFarlane) Arsenault and Charles (Rochelle) Arsenault, beloved uncle to Lucie and Julien Arsenault and loving partner to Kristina Koval.
He is predeceased by his grandparents Rita and Tilmon Arsenault and Jeanne and Félix Arsenault, his aunt Louise Arsenault who died in infancy, his uncle Eric (Lucia) Cameron and his uncle Leslie (Donna) Barnes.
He leaves behind a number of uncles, aunts, cousins, many friends and work colleagues.
Denis graduated in 2004 from Holland College with a diploma as an Architectural Technologist. He worked as a Project Technologist and Drafter at Chandlers Cabinets and Millwork for over 6 years. In 2012, he further pursued his education and graduated from Toronto Metropolitan University (formally Ryerson University) in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering. His inquisitive mind made him destined to become an engineer and he spent the last 7 years with his current employer, RAB Design Lighting Inc.
Denis was fascinated by anything considered a challenge and always tried to find solutions whether it be related to the sciences, life and anything engineer-related. He was an avid skier, rollerblader, gamer, and a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet geek. He didn't read many physical books, but he read a lot on a variety of every-day subjects. Denis also asked A LOT of questions, and always had a thirst for knowledge. He walked through life relatively worry-free, always compassionate and understanding, and gave everyone all the time in the world.
Denis will be greatly missed by every life he touched. His soul was gentle, humble and his positive outlook and zest for life was incomparable. All of these qualities are what made him such a wonderful son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, friend and work colleague.
