Obituary of Yvette, Gallant Marie

With heavy hearts and with her family by her side, we announce the passing of Yvette Marie Gallant at the young age of 42 years, at home in Abram's Village, on Sunday, February 5th, 2017. Yvette was born in Summerside on April 6, 1974, daughter of Melvin and Claudette Gallant. She was a devoted wife to Jamie Gallant and loving mother to Evan and Marissa. She will be forever remembered by her brothers Gilles and Jean (Amanda Smith) and nephew Jacob. Yvette is survived by her in-laws Paul and Aldena Gallant as well as numerous aunts and uncles. She is predeceased by brother-in-law Mike Gallant. Resting at the Evangeline Co-op Funeral Home, Urbainville until Thursday, February 9, 2017 then to St. Philippe and St. Jacques Church, Egmont Bay where funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Interment will take place in the church cemetery at a later date. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, February 8 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.. Members of the Wellington Legion Branch #17 will hold a prayer service at the funeral home on Wednesday at 6:45 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations in Yvette's memory to the Cancer Society, the Diabetes Association or to a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
