Obituary of Arthur, Arsenault

The death occurred at his home in Abram's Village on January 10, 2017, of Arthur Joseph Arsenault, husband of Lisette (Lamontagne) Arsenault at the age of 72. He was born in Abram's Village on May 14, 1944 son of the late Arcade and Marie Arsenault. He was a devoted husband to Lisette and loving father to Marie-Josée Arsenault (Trenton, ON), Veronica Arsenault (Ottawa, ON), and special grandfather to Sebastian Arsenault (Trenton, ON). Arthur will be forever remembered by his brothers and sisters, Corinne Duffy, Marguerite (Glorice) Gallant, Edna (Dean) Ferrish, Tony (Christine) Arsenault, Julie Anne (Kenny) Arsenault, Bertha (Kenny) Praught, Marie Hél&egravene Arsenault, René (Gail) Arsenault, Eva Arsenault, Henrie Arsenault, and Stella (Bill) McNeil. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws. Besides his parents, Arthur was predeceased by his brothers Nazaire and Ars&egravene Arsenault and father-in-law and mother-in-law. Resting at the Evangeline Co-op Funeral Home in Urbainville until Monday, January 16, 2017, then to St. Philippe et St. Jacques Church, Egmont Bay where funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30 am. Interment will take place in the church cemetery at a later date. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday January 15, 2017, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Members of the Wellington Branch Legion #17 will hold a prayer service at the funeral home on Sunday at 6:45pm. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations can be made to Stewart Memorial Home in Tyne Valley ,P.E.I. where his wife is being cared for. Thanks in advance for all donations.
