Obituary of Richard James, Perry

The death occurred peacefully with his family by his side at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 of Richard James Perry at the age of 72. Richard was born in Wellington on September 02,1944 son of the late Edward (Eddy) and Corinne (nee Arsenault) Perry. He was a devoted husband to Freda (nee Arsenault) and a loving father to Patsy (Perry) McNeill (Russell) and Ronnie (Rosalie). Richard was a passionate grandfather to Kaitee McNeill (Ryan),Jodi McNeill(Brendan) and Darren Myers Perry. He will be forever remembered by his brothers and sisters: Paul (Alice) Perry, Abram's Village, Lynn (Frank) Arsenault, Toronto, Nancy (Roger) Gallant, Cape Egmont, Brian (Benita) St. Chrysostome, Sandra (Roland) Arsenault, Wellington as well as sister-in-law Patricia Perry and brother-in-law Aurele (Effie) Arsenault. Richard is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, brothers Earl,Ronnie and sister Mary Francis in infancy. Resting at the Evangeline Co-op Funeral Home, Urbainville until Saturday, January 7, 2017 then to Immaculate Conception Church, Wellington where funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Interment will take place in the church cemetery at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations in Richard's memory to the Canadian Diabetic Association or to the Prince County Hospital would be greatly appreciated.
