Obituary of Poirier - Gaudet, Zella

Surrounded by her loving family, the death occurred peacefully at Summerset Manor, Summerside on Wednesday, October 7, 2015 of Zella (nee Arsenault) Poirier - Gaudet formerly of St. Raphael aged 93 years. Beloved wife of the late Joe Bob Poirier then wife to the late Martin Gaudet, Zella was born on September 2, 1922 in Egmont Bay to her late parents Joe B. and Julie-Anne (nee LeClair) Arsenault. Zella is survived by her loving children Austin (Claudette), Bobby (Betty), Gordon (Anna), Janice, Darlene (Fox) friend of Allan Crosby, Randy and Kelly (June) .She also leaves to mourn sister Rita Conway and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Zella is predeceased by her two husbands, parents, daughter Brenda, son-in-law Steven Benoit as well as brothers and sisters. Resting at the Evangeline Co-op Funeral Home, Urbainville until Monday October 12th, 2015 then to St. Philippe and St. Jacques Church, Egmont Bay where funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Interment to take place in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers as an expression of sympathy, memorial donations in Zella's memory to the Evangeline Funeral Coop Home or to a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
