Obituary of Arsenault, Anne Marie Poirier)

The death occurred peacefully and surrounded by her family at Prince County Hospital, Summerside on Wednesday January 21, 2015 of Anne Marie (nee Poirier) Arsenault of Abram's Village at the age of 97. Wife of the late George P. Arsenault, Anne Marie was born in Abram's Village on March 06,1917, daughter of the late Abel and Emma Poirier. She is survived by her loving children: Roy (Penny) Arsenault, Zella (Gilles) Marier , Louis (Doris) Arsenault, Charles Arsenault and Dick Arsenault. She is also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Debbie, Donna, Darrell, Nicole, Michel, Kevin and Rick, ten great-grandchildren and two great-great- grandchildren. She will be forever remembered by her sister Yvonne Gallant of Montreal and brother-in-law Agno Arsenault of Wedgewood Manor. Anne Marie is predeceased by her husband, parents and sister Marguerite Arsenault. Resting at the Evangeline Co-op Funeral Home, Urbainville until Saturday January 24, 2015 then to St. Philippe and St. Jacques Church, Egmont Bay where funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Visiting hours will be held on Friday January 23, from 7 to 9 p.m. only. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations in Anne Marie's memory to the Palliative Care Unit or to a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated. Anne Marie was one of the founding members of the Abram's Village Handicraft Co-op and a great volunteer in her parish.
