With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Eric Joseph Richard age 76 at his home, Le Bel Age, Wellington on Tuesday , March 04, 2014 formerly of Cape Egmont. Born on April 20, 1937 son of the late Glorice and Marianne (nee Aucoin) Richard.

Beloved husband of Doria (nee Gaudet) and loving father of Louis (Colette), Cédric (Mona), Aurèle (Sandra) and Desmond (Kelly).Eric was a passionate grand father to Suzanne (Marc) Côté ,Pierre, Matthieu, Tyler, Nathalie, Robert and a great grand child Amélie.

Will be forever remembered by his brothers and sisters Cyril (Rosella), Arsène, Adolphe (Léona), Hélène Déraspe, Mélina and Bertha Richard (Gordon) Perry. Survived by his in-laws Maria Bernard, Angèle Bernard, Joan Heeschen, Mildred (Maxime) Arsenault, Betty (Joe) Arsenault, Janita (Alfred) Arsenault, Edward Gaudet and Noreen (Urbain) Arsenault

Besides his parents he was predeceased by his sisters Sr.Marguerite, and Isabelle (in infancy)and by his brothers Martin, Robert. Also predeceased by brother- in- law Blair Heeschen and Joe Déraspe.

Resting at the Evangeline Co-op Funeral Home, Urbainville until Friday, March 7, 2014 then to the Notre Dame du Mont Carmel Church, Mont Carmel where funeral mass will be celebrated at 10;30 a.m. Interment to take place in the church cemetery at a later date.

As an expression of sympathy in lieu of flowers, memorial donations made in Eric's memory to the Evangeline Co-op Funeral Home Building Fund would be greatly appreciated.
