Joseph Alcide Arsenault

Suddenly at Wedgewood Manor in Summerside, PEI,on Monday, February 4,2013, of Alcide Arsenault,formerly of Richmond, age 88 years. Alcide, the son of the late Emanuel and Marie Rose was born in St. Raphael, P.E.I.

He was the beloved husband of the late Mary Margaret(May) and is lovingly remembered by his children, Eric (Jean), Ontario; Vince, Alberta; Gary (Marilyn) Stratford and Richmond; Rose Marie (Brian DesRoches) Miscouche, and his 11 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and his many nieces and nephews.

He also leaves to mourn his sister in British Columbia, Lucille Cochrane, and his daughters-in-law,Bonnie Arsenault and Geralda Arsenault (Ralph Dawson).Predeceased by his son , Earle, his daughter-in-law,Sue Arsenault, and the following brothers and sisters: Sophie, Alyre, Edna, Edmund, Clara, Ernest, Irene, Freddie and Yvonne.

Resting at the Evangeline Co-op Funeral Home, Urbainville, for visitation on Friday, February 8 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at the Immaculate Conception Church,Richmond on Saturday ,February 9 at 10:30 a.m. Internment in the Parish Cemetery at a later date. If so desired donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Immaculate Conception Church Cemetery Fund would be appreciated.
