Obituary of Gallant, Roger Edward

The death occurred peacefully with loving family by his side of Roger Edward Gallant of Wellington at the age of 44, at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside on May 25, 2012. He was the son of Marie Rose (Bernard) Gallant and the late Jerome Gallant. Survived by his loving wife Janice Gallant and a son Jerome Gallant. Brothers and Sisters Robert (Donna) Gallant, B.C.; Mariette (Clarence) Webb, Halifax; Jeannette (Claude) Blaquiere Mont-Carmel; Maurice (Donna) Gallant, Halifax; Claudette (Doug) McQuaid, Wellington; Michel (Monique) Gallant, Urbainville and Monique (Jean Paul) Gallant, St. Raphael and also brother-in-law Kevin (Jennifer) Gallant, Ontario. He is also survived by two god-daughters Melanie McQuaid and Kelsey Arsenault and one god-son Paul Gallant. Also survived by his in-law, Glorice and Marguerite Gallant of Ontario and by numerous nephews and nieces. Resting at the Evangeline Co-op Funeral Home, Urbainville until Tuesday, May 29, 2012 then to St.Philippe and St. Jacques Church for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment in the church cemetery. Visiting hours Monday, May 28, 2012 are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the Education fund for Jerome or to the Prince County Hospital, Summerside would be appreciated. At the request of the family, due to allergies please refrain from wearing scented products.
