Obituary of Gallant, Adélina Marie

Gallant, Adelina Marie (1924 - 2012) Adelina is now safely in the arms of her Precious and Loving God. The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital with her family by her side on Saturday, March 24th, 2012 of Adelina Gallant, formerly of le Chez Nous. Adelina was born on July 15th, 1924 and was the daughter of the late Cyrus and Melanie Gallant. She was predeceased by her husband, Leo J. Gallant and her daughter Leona (Raymond) Arsenault. She leaves to mourn the following children: Jacques (Della), St. Chrysostome PE, Yvon, Vancouver BC, Cyrus (Karen), White Rock BC, Geri (Rick) Normoyle, Gloucester ON, Claudia (Doug) Shepheard, Kemptville ON, Maria (Gary) Hickey, Kensington PE, Corinne (Albert) Arsenault, Wellington PE, Diane (Gary) Leverett, Edmonton AB, Roger (Eva), Vancouver, Angele (Martin) Arsenault, Charlottetown PE, Simone (Steve) Stewart, Stratford PE and son-in-law Raymond (fiance Doris). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as one very loving and devoted sister, Rita (Eddy) Arsenault, St. Chrysostome PE. She also leaves behind one brother-in-law Jacques (Hermine) Gallant, Abrams-Village PE, and sisters-in-law Ida (the late Camille Gallant), Wellington PE, Vitaline (Donat) Arsenault, Egmont Bay PE, Lucie (the late Edmond Cormier), Summerside PE and Eveline (Edmond) Gallant, St. Philippe PE as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Sophie Anderson and brothers Joseph (the late Edna), Amand (the late Lillian), Edmond, Tony and Ted. Resting at the Evangeline Funeral Co-op in Urbainville PE with visiting hours on Thursday, March 29th, 2012 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Funeral to be held on Friday, March 30th, 2012 at 10:30 am from St. Philippe and St. Jacques church in Egmont Bay. If so desired, donations may be made to the Chez-Nous Recreational Fund for Residents.
