It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Edmond Marc Cormier of Wellington, P.E.I. on Sunday, January 29, 2012 at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside,

He was born on October 07, 1929, son of the late Benoit and Delina (Arsenault) Cormier. Survived by his wife Lucie Marie (Gallant) Cormier and sons and daughter Claude (Marianna) of Toronto, Maurice of Edmonton,Alberta, Angela (Alan) MacLean of Red Deer Alberta, Dennis (Elise) of St. Raphael, Ronald, Lawrence (Michelle) and Jamie (Tammy) of Wellington. Survived by grandchildren Ryan, Kendra, Denise, Kristofer, Matthew, Abbey, Zakary, Julien, Benoit, Kyle, Kaiden and great grand-daughter Brynn-Lee. Also survived by brothers and sisters Alyre (Yvette) Cormier, Joseph and Toussaint (Yvonne) Cormier, Zita Gallant, Ella Caisie, Irene Bernard, Imelda (Edmond) Arsenault, Marguerite Gallant and Corinne (Alyre) Arsenault. He is also survived by numerous brothers in-law and sisters in-law. Predeceased by his parents, daughter Mona Arsenault, daughter in infancy Elizabeth and a grand-daughter, Michaela. Predeceased by brothers Tilmon and Antoin and sister Lucy.

Resting at Evangeline Co-op Funeral Home until Thursday, February 02, 2012 then to the Immaculate Conception Church, Wellington Center, for funeral mass at 10:30 am. Visitation to take place on Wednesday, February 01, 2012 from 2-4 p.m. and 7- 9 p.m.

At the request of the family, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation and Alzheimer Society would be greatly appreciated.

Interment in the church cemetary.
