Obituary of Arsenault, Joseph Julien Homère

Son of the late Alyre C. and the late Marie Anne (Gallant) Arsenault, Joseph Julien Hom&egravere Arsenault passed away peacefully at his home in Wellington, PEI on Sunday, October 9, 2022 at the age of 94 years, under the continued compassionate care of his wife Orella, and with family members at his side. Julien is survived by his loving wife Orella (nee Gallant) and his eight children, Donald (Denise), Valerie (Bob), Darlene (Normand), Jeanette (Gerard), Claudette (Allan), Roger (Shelley), Diane (Glenn) and Michael (Cindy) as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers Armand (Priscille), Eldon (Betty), Roger (Lorraine), his sisters Yvonne (late Cedric), Thelma (Earl), Louise and Mélina (Eric), his sister-in-law Terri (late Jack), as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers Abel (late Eva), Léo (Hermine), Edward (Zelma) and Calixte, his sister Aldona (late Léo Vautour), two very young sisters Hermine and Mélina, as well as his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Eddy (Mary), Johnny (Doreen), Cyril (late Margaret), Anna (late Léo), Belonie (late Sadie), Alyre (late Rose), Elzie (late Doreen), Elmer (late Eleanor) and numerous nieces and nephews. He will be laid to rest at the Evangeline Funeral Home (900 Route 124, Urbainville, PEI) where the public is invited between 7 and 9 p.m. on Thursday, October 13. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday October 14 at 3 p.m. , Immaculate Conception Church, Richmond. In recognition of Julien's dedicated volunteerism and charitable nature, donations to either Palliative Home Care, Chez-Nous Cooperative, or a charitable organization of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
