Obituary of Bernard, Doreen M.

The death occurred at the Maplewood Manor, Alberton surrounded by family on Tuesday February 10, 2015 of Doreen M. Bernard formerly of St. Louis aged 89 years. Wife of the late Henry J. Bernard. She was born in Tignish on January 16, 1926, the daughter of the late Henry J. and Alice (Chaisson) Bernard.. Dear mother to Brenda (Gerard) Blanchard, Alberton; Richard Bernard, St. Louis and Marion (Brian) LeClair, St. Felix. Loving grandmother to Tina Bernard (Dale); Kevin (Jackie); Randy (Tabitha); April (Cory) and Joey (Tabitha) and many great grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister-in-law Rita Perry and a brother-in-law Alyre (Mae) Bernard, Tignish. She was predeceased by parents Henry and Alice, husband Henry J. and a half brother Alphy. Resting at the West Prince Funeral Home, 522 Thompson Road, Palmer Road for visiting hours Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. and Thursday 9-10 a.m. Funeral will be held Thursday Feb. 12, 2015 at the Immaculate Conception Church, Palmer Road at 10:30 a.m. Memorial donations to the Maplewood Manor Equipment Fund would be greatly appreciated. Interment will take place at a later date in the church cemetery.
