Obituary of Reid, Bernice

The death occurred at the Wedgewood Manor Summerside on Sunday April 18,2010 of Mrs. Bernice Reid, wife of the late Dr. Raymond Reid at the age of 100 years.She is the last surviving member of her family. She is the daughter of late Emmanuel and Mannie (Cormier) Gaudet. She is survived by her loving sons and daughters, Claudette (Ernie) Arsenault of Summerside, Deanna (Gerald) Gallant of Summerside, Cheryl (Blair) Doucette of Mt. Carmel, Roger (Eileen) Reid of Calgary Alberta, Noella (Richard) Gallant of Wellington, and George Reid of Summerside, and 18 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband Dr. Reid, she was predeceased by three children, three sisters, two brothers, one granddaughter and one grandson. Resting at the Evangeline Funeral Home until Wednesday, then to Immaculate Conception Church Wellington for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Visitors shall be received on Tuesday 6-9 p.m. only. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to Le Chez Nous Ltd., Wedgewood Manor, or Community Connections would be greatly appreciated. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
