Obituary of Arsenault, Tilmon

It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Tilmon Arsenault at his residence in Harmony Line Road, Richmond at the age of 74. Born in Maximeville on June 5th, 1948, he was the son of the late Élizé and Théodosie Arsenault. Beloved husband of Mae (Barriault) Arsenault, and left to cherish his memory are his children Brenda Arsenault (Benny Culleton), Edna (Kendall) Ramsay, Michel (Tara Simmons). Tilmon is survived by his brothers and sisters, Marguerite (Amand), Honoré, Olivier (Alphonsine), Célina (Edward) Gallant, Edgar (Eva), Freda Bernard (Pat), sisters-in-law Vitaline Arsenault, Rita Arsenault, Martina Arsenault, Victoria (Maynard) Ramsay, Norma Poirier and numerous nieces and nephews. He will also be fondly remembered by his loving grandchildren Jonathan, Claire, Benjamin, Anthony, and Anna. He was predeceased by his parents, Élizé and Théodosie, his brothers Irenée (Lorraine), Amand, Phil (Ella), Regis, Gerard (Kay), Ars&egravene (Julie Anne), Donat, Alfred (Alice) Richard and brothers-in-law Joe Arsenault, Amand Poirier and sister-in-law Melina Arsenault. Resting at the Évangéline Funeral Home, 900 route 124, Wellington, until Tuesday, July 5th, 2022 then to the Saint-Philippe et Saint-Jacques Church for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery. Visitations at the funeral home will be held on Monday, July 4th, from 6 to 9 p.m. Donations made in Tilmon's memory to the Kidney Foundation, or a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
