Obituary of Arsenault, Eva Marie

Surrounded by her loving family, the death occurred peacefully at the Summerset Manor, Summerside on Sunday, May 15, 2022 of Eva Marie Arsenault at the age of 90 years, formerly of Wellington. She was the wife of the late Abel J Arsenault (1970) and the daughter of the late Cornelius Gallant and the late Aurelie Gallant of Urbainville. She was the last surviving member of her family. Eva is survived by her loving children Gerald (Gladys), Paul (Brenda), Louis (Marlene), Sandra (Amand), Alan (Denise) and special daughter-in-law Zita Arsenault, grandchildren Natalie (Jamie), Francine (Joel), Lyanne (Charles), Katherine (Sohiel), Timmy (Melissa), Rachael (Corey), Amy (Simon), Jordan, Christopher (Stephanie), Michael (Phoebe) and Crystal (Craig). She will also be fondly remembered by her 20 great grandchildren and by numerous nieces and nephews. Several brothers and sisters-in-law from the Alyre é Calixte family will also cherish her memory. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Abel, by her sons Martin and Robert, by sisters Anna, Dora, Catherine, Corinne, her brother Alfred and several brothers and sisters-in-law. Resting at the Évangéline Funeral Home in Urbainville until Saturday, May 21, 2022, then to the Immaculate Conception Church, Richmond, for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow in the Church Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Friday, May 20, 2022 from 7 to 9 p.m. Donations made in Eva's memory to the Arthritis Society - PEI Division or a charity of your choice will be greatly appreciated.
