Obituary of Vitaline MarieAnne Arsenault
October 21, 1932 – May 18, 2023
The death occurred peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, at the Summerset Manor, Summerside, on Thursday, May 18, 2023 of Vitaline MarieAnne Arsenault (née Gallant) formerly of Egmont Bay. She was the wife of the late Donat Arsenault and daughter of the late Joseph and Mélanie (née Arsenault) Gallant of Egmont Bay.
Vitaline is survived by her 4 sons: Edward (Nora) of Egmont Bay, Melvin (Linda) of Egmont Bay, Peter (Susan) of Smokey Lake, Alberta and Alfred (Sandy) of Egmont Bay. She will be sadly missed by her 11 grandchildren and by her 12 great grandchildren. Vitaline will forever be remembered by her brothers and sisters-in-law Hermine Gallant, Edgar (Eva), Oliver (Alphonsine), Amand (Margerite), Edward (Célina), Freda (Pat), Rita, Mae, Vicky (Maynard); and by numerous nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her husband Donat Arsenault, her father and mother-in-law Joseph and Mélanie Gallant; by her brothers and sisters: Léo (Adélina), Camille (Ida), Jacques, Éveline (Edmond), Lucie (Edmond) and by brothers and sisters-in-law: Amand, Tilmon, Reggie, Alfred (Alice) and René (Lorraine).
Resting at the Évangéline Funeral Home, 900 Route 124, Urbainville for visitation on Sunday, May 21st from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at the St. Philippe et St. Jacques Church, Egmont Bay on Monday, May 22nd at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery.
