The death occurred peacefully at his residence, surrounded by his loving family, on Saturday, May 20, 2023 of Fidele Joseph Arsenault of Abram-Village at the age of 72. Born on November 19, 1950, he was the beloved husband of Claire Arsenault and cherished son of the late Alyre and Rita Arsenault of Abram-Village.

Fidele was the proud father to his three boys: Terry (Krista), Jeffrey (Priscilla) and Billy (Jessica). He will be sadly missed by his three grandchildren: Clayton, Chase and Evie. Fidele will forever be remembered by his brothers and sisters: Bella (Melvin) Bernard, Rose Baglole, Alice (Paul) Perry, Robert Arsenault, Pierre (Rose) Arsenault, Alphonse (Sandra) Arsenault, Diane (Elmer) Gallant, Alfred (Ann) Arsenault, Leonce Arsenault, Paulette (Roger) Arsenault; by numerous brothers and sisters-in-law and by many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by his father and mother, by father and mother-in-law François and Marie Anne Arsenault and by sister-in-law Ginette Arsenault and brother-in-law Mac Baglole.

Resting at the Évangéline Funeral Home, 900 Route 124, Urbainville, for public visitation on Wednesday, May 24, from 1:30 to 3:45 p.m. followed by the funeral service at 4 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment to follow in the St. Philippe et St. Jacques Cemetery, Egmont Bay.
