Obituary of Peter Joseph Bernard

January 5, 1937 ~ June 4, 2023 The death occurred at the O’Leary Community Hospital in O’Leary on Sunday, June 4, 2023 of Peter Joseph Bernard of Abram-Village at the age of 86 years. Born January 5, 1937, he was the son of the late Joseph Bernard and the late Florence (née Wedge) Bernard. Peter is survived by his loving sister and brothers; Della (Jacques) Gallant, Melvin (Bella), Amand (Muriel), Abel (Dianne); and by his sister-in-law Ruby Bernard. He will be dearly missed by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Florence Bernard and by his brother André and by his brother Alfred in infancy. Resting at the Évangéline Funeral Home, 900 Route 124, Urbainville for visitations on Wednesday, June 7th from 2:00 to 3:45 p.m. followed by a funeral service at the funeral home at 4:00 p.m. Interment to follow in the Saint-Philippe et Saint-Jacques Cemetery in Egmont Bay.
