It is with sadness in our hearts that we, the family of Roger Joseph Louis Arsenault of Wellington, announce his passing, surrounded by his loving family, on Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, at the age of 74 years. Born December 17, 1948, Roger was the beloved husband of Muriel (née Richard) and was the son of the late Sylvere and Marguerite (née Poirier) Arsenault of Urbainville.

Roger will be forever missed by his sons: Roger Junior (Grace) and Carl; step-daughter Julie and special daughter-in-law Francine; by his grandchildren: Brandon (Jodi), Evan (Hayley), Alyssa (BABA) and Camille; by great grandson Hudson. He will forever be remembered by his brothers and sisters: Arthur (Simone), Paul (Christine), Wilfred (Diane), Gérard, Aldona (Michel), Peter-deceased (Glenn), Rose (Pierre) and by half-brother Urbain (Glenda). Memories of Roger will forever be cherished by his brothers and sisters-in-law: Doris (Louis), Ronald (Aline), Maurice-deceased, Simone-deceased (Raymond), Juliette (Yvon), Jean-Guy (Annette), Roger, Nicole, Zoel (Carol), Alain (Colette), aunt Yvonne and by numerous nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by his parents, Sylvere and Marguerite Arsenault, parents-in-law Emmanuel and Antoinette Richard, by his brother Peter, his half brothers and sisters: Cyril (Rita), Ella (Cedric), Rena (Roy), Cécile (Robert), by brother-in-law Benny Richard.

Resting at the Évangéline Funeral Home, 900 PE-124, Urbainville, PE for visiting hours on Tuesday, August 22, 2023 from 1 to 3 p.m. followed by a memorial service at the funeral home at 3:15 p.m. Interment to follow in the Saint-Philippe et Saint-Jacques Church Cemetery, Egmont Bay.

Donations in memory of Roger made to the Diabetes Society or the Cancer Society or to a charity of your choice will be greatly appreciated.
