Obituary of Shirley Marie Arsenault

February 29, 1944 ~ September 28, 2023 It is with sadness in our hearts that we announce the passing of our dear sister, aunt & friend, Shirley Marie Arsenault at the Summerset Manor, Summerside, on Thursday, September 28, 2023 at the age of 79 years. Shirley was the beautiful daughter of the late Amédé and Philomène Arsenault. Left to cherish her memory are her siblings: Marie, Jeannette (Junior - deceased), Gloria (Claude), Claude, Benita (Brian), Paul (Kathy), Ron (Dodie) and Rosa; brothers-in-law Paul Gallant and Edward Arsenault along with many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her sisters Cecilia, Claudette (Leonard), Betty and Theresa. Shirley was a kind and loving lady with a big heart who had so much love for her family. Happiness is what she wanted for all. Resting at the Évangéline Funeral Home, 900 route 124, Urbainville until Monday, October 2, 2023 then to the St. Philippe et St. Jacques Church, Egmont Bay, for a funeral mass at 10:00 a.m. (Funeral Mass is open to the public). Interment will follow in the Parish Cemetery. At the family’s request, there will not be any public visiting hours. Donations in Shirley’s memory, made to the Summerset Manor will be greatly appreciated.
