It is with sadness in our hearts that we, the family of Joseph Grant Gaudet of MacArthur Rd., Springhill, announces his passing, on Thursday, October 19, 2023, at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, at the age of 76 years.

Beloved husband of Jeanne (née McLean) Gaudet, he was the son of the late Maurice Gaudet and Margaret (née MacKinnon) Gaudet.

Grant will be sadly missed by his son Jason Gaudet; sisters Colleen (Ed) and Mary-Lynn (Robert); mother-in-law: Anne Mulloy; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Barbara, Edward, Paul, Kathy (Jim), Keith (Mary) and Joanne (Dave). He will be forever missed by his grandchildren: Hunter, Brooke and Morgan.

Predeceased by his parents: Maurice and Margaret; father-in-law: James; by brothers and sisters: Wilfred, Rosella, Barbara, Jackie, Marlene and Joseph; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Charlie, Judy, Carol and Tommy.

Resting at the Évangéline Funeral Home, 900 Route 124, Urbainville, for visiting hours on Monday, October 23rd, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. followed by a funeral service at the Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at the Immaculate Conception Church Cemetery, Richmond.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Grant's memory to the Cancer Society or to the Immaculate Conception Cemetery Fund will be greatly appreciated.
