Obituary of Harold (Dick) Michael Cameron
October 8, 1942 ~ January 3, 2024
It is with great sadness in our hearts that we, the family of Harold Michael (Dick) Cameron, announces his passing at his residence in Wellington Center on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at the age of 81 years. Born October 8, 1942, Harold (Dick) was the beloved husband of Mélina (Richard-Barriault) Cameron and cherished son of the late John Edward and Bernice (Sheeran) Cameron.
Harold (Dick) was the cherished stepfather of: Elmer Barriault, Simone (Maurice) Arsenault, Daniel (Sheila) Barriault, Ronald (Amber) Barriault, Karen (Pierre - deceased) Caissie, Richard (Jeanette) Barriault and Mona Barriault; will be forever remembered by his sisters: Marion (Joe - deceased) Gillis and Eleanor Breau; and by Mélina's sisters an in-law: Aldona (Richard), Zelma (Edward - deceased) and Donalda (Donat). He will fondly be remembered by 13 step grandchildren and 18 step great grandchildren and by numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, several brothers and sister and by several in-laws.
Resting at the Évangéline Funeral Home, 900 Route 124, Urbainville for visiting hours on Monday, January 8th, from 1:00 to 4 p.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at 4:30 p.m. at the Immaculate Conception Church, Richmond. Interment at a later date in the Church Cemetery.
Donations in Harold’s (Dick’s) memory made to the Immaculate Conception Church Building Fund or to the Cancer Society will be greatly appreciated.
