Obituary of Paul Joseph Arsenault

January 13, 1947 ~ January 5, 2024 The death occurred peacefully, with his family at his side, at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Friday, January 5, 2024, of Paul Joseph Arsenault of Urbainville, at the age of 76 years. Born January 13, 1947, Paul was the loving husband of Christine (née Lipiec) and cherished son of the late Sylvère and the late Marguerite (née Poirier) Arsenault of Urbainville Paul was the devoted and precious father of: Pauline (Kevin) Poirier and James (Helen) Arsenault; a brother to: Wilfred (Diane), Gerard, Arthur (Simone), Urbain (Glenda – deceased), Rose (Pierre) and Aldona (Michel). He is survived by sisters-in-law; Muriel Arsenault and Glenn Arsenault; and by 3 brothers-in-law and 2 sisters-in-law from abroad. He will forever be remembered by his grandchildren: Nicholas, Noah, Lauren, Starr, Keegan, Brian; one great grandchild Brady; and by numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, parents-in-law; brothers and sisters: Cyril (Rita), Roger, Cécile (Robert), Ella (Cedric), Peter, Rena (Roy); and by granddaughter Destiny Arsenault. Resting at the Évangéline Funeral Home, 900 Route 124, Urbainville for a funeral service on Tuesday, January 9th, at 10:30 a.m. for family and invited guests only. Interment to take place in the church Cemetery following the service at the funeral home. By personal request, there will be no visiting hours. He enjoyed playing cards, especially “crib”. He always made people feel welcomed and made them laugh. He loved playing practical jokes on family and friends alike. His sense of humor brightened the lives of those around him and he always made time for family and friends. Greatly loved, deeply missed. We are forever grateful to have had you in our lives.
