March 10, 1951 – January 7, 2024

The death occurred peacefully at the O’Leary Community Hospital on Sunday, January 7, 2024 of Leo Joseph Arsenault at the age of 72 years. Born March 10, 1951 he was the beloved son of the late Agno and the late Laurina Arsenault of Wellington.

Leo was the cherished father of Daniel Joseph (Junko) Arsenault and Angela (Billy).

He is survived by his brothers: Marcel (Stella), Sam (Eileen), Elmer, his sisters Simone (Gilles), Rita Daley, and sister-in-law Diane.

He will be forever remembered fondly by his grandchildren: Cameron, Tristen, Meilin, Reina, Luna, and by numerous nieces and nephews.

Leo was predeceased by his parents, Agno and Laurina Arsenault, his brother Ernest, his sister Rolande and brothers-in-law Simon Arsenault and Wally Daley

Resting at the Évangéline Funeral Home, 900 Route 124, Urbainville, PEI. By personal request there will be no visiting hours. A service of the Liturgy of the Word will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, January 11 at 2:00 p.m. for family and friends.

Interment will take place at a later date at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery, in Richmond, PEI.

The Royal Canadian Legion Branch #17 Wellington will hold a service of Remembrance at the Evangeline Funeral Home at 1:45 p.m. on Thursday, January 11 2024
