Obituary of Richard, Edna

The death occurred peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Charlottetown on Friday, January 14, 2022 of Edna Richard (née Gallant) of Cape-Egmont age 65 years. Born on the 19th of May 1956, she was the loving wife of Camille Richard and precious daughter of the late Claire Gallant and the late Aline Gallant of Cape Egmont. She will be forever loved and missed by her daughter Serena (Michael Wright) Richard and by her son Stephen (Erin) Richard. Edna is survived by her brothers and sisters Melva, Hermine (Eric), Raymond (Simone-deceased), Yvon (Juliette), Paul (Janice), Simon (Paulette), Léonce (Suzanne), Michel (Andrew) and Corinne-deceased (Norman). She will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren Riley, Cassie, Charlotte, and Jackson and by her 3 great-grandchildren. Also left to cherish her memory are her sisters-in-law Carmella (Gary), Marcia (Gérard), Thelma (Wayne-deceased), Janice (Paul), Ang&egravele (Ron), by brother-in-law Ernest (Carmella) and by her mother-in-law Exina (Oxybé-deceased) Richard also by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Due to COVID19 restrictions, a private family memorial service will be held by invitation only. Interment will be held at a later date in the Notre-Dame-du-Mont-Carmel Church Cemetery. Donations in Edna's memory made to a charity of your choice will be appreciated.
