Obituary of Leonce Joseph Arsenault

November 15, 1962 ~ May 13, 2024 It is with great sadness in our hearts that we, the family of Leonce announce his passing at the O’Leary Community Hospital at the age of 61. He was the beloved son of late Alyre and Rita Arsenault of Abram-Village. Leonce will be forever remembered by his brothers and sisters: Bella (Melvin) Bernard, Rose Baglole, Alice (Paul) Perry, Robert Arsenault, Pierre (Rose) Arsenault, Alphonse (Sandra) Arsenault, Diane (Elmer) Gallant, Alfred (Ann) Arsenault, Paulette (Roger) Arsenault; by sister-in-law Claire Arsenault; special friend Rosa Arsenault and by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, his brother Fidele Arsenault, sister-in-law Ginette Arsenault and brother-in-law Mac Baglole. Leonce enjoyed his daily outdoor walks, watching sports, swimming, skating on the Wellington pond and cribbage games with family and friends. He had a beautiful loving energy with children and always managed to make them laugh. He will be dearly missed by his family, numerous cousins and friends. Resting at the Évangéline Funeral Home, 900 Route 124, Urbainville, for visiting hours on Friday, May 17, 2024 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. followed by a funeral service at the funeral home. Interment to follow in the St.-Philippe et St.-Jacques Parish Cemetery, Egmont Bay. Donations in Leonce’s memory made to the St.-Philippe et St.-Jacques Parish Cemetery Fund or to a charitable organization of your choice will be greatly appreciated.
