It is with sadness in our hearts that we, the children of Cecile Gallant (née Arsenault), announces her peaceful passing at her home in St. Philippe, PEI, while surrounded by her loving family, on June 9, 2024, at the age of 71 years. Cecile was the beloved wife of the late Nazaire (Joe) Gallant and cherished daughter of the late Frederic Arsenault and the late Marie Arsenault (née Gallant) of Abram-Village.

Cecile will be forever missed by her 3 daughters; Norma (Kent) Murphy, Judy (Jason) Pineau and Sally Gallant (Jason); cherished forever by her brother Arthur Arsenault and sisters Corinne (Leon-deceased) Stewart and Della (Roger) Arsenault; by sisters-in-law: Rita Arsenault, Rose-Eva Arsenault, Shirley Paugh; and by the extended Gallant family. She will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren: Alexander, Samantha, Brandon, Zachary, Austin, Marcus; and by her great grandchild, Jazlynn.

Predeceased by her parents; her father and mother-in-law: Alphonse and Marieanne Gallant; her husband Nazaire (Joe) Gallant; her sister Aline Murray and brothers: Ernest, Junior, Roger, Yvon and Ronald.

Resting at the Évangéline Funeral Home, 900 Route 124, Urbainville, for visiting hours on Thursday, June 13 from 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the Funeral Home on Friday, June 14 at 10:30 a.m. followed by the interment in the Saint-Philippe et Saint-Jacques Church Cemetery, Egmont Bay.
