Obituary of Mary (Betty) Hitchcock

28 March 1947 - 11 July 2024 It is with sadness in their hearts that the family of Mary (Betty) Hitchcock of Kensington, age 77, announces her peaceful passing at the Prince County hospital on July 11th, 2024. Born on March 28th, 1947 Betty was the cherished daughter of the late Murray and the late Lucy (née Gallant) Hitchcock. Betty will forever be fondly remembered by her brothers; Robert (Aldine) Hitchcock, and Reginald Senior (Brenda) Hitchcock. Also left to cherish her fond memories are numerous nieces and nephews: Reginald Junior, Darren, Joel, Jonathan, Darrel, Curtis Hitchcock, Andrea McKay, Debbie Bulger and Ricky Hitchcock. She was predeceased by her parents Murray and Lucy Hitchcock. Resting at the Évangéline Funeral Home, 900 Route 124, Urbainville, for visiting hours on Sunday, July 14, 2024, from 7 to 9 p.m. for family and relatives only. A funeral mass will be held on Monday, July 15, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. at Saint-Philippe et Saint-Jacques Church, Egmont Bay. Interment will follow in the Saint-Philippe et Saint-Jacques Cemetery. Donations in memory of Betty made to Canadian Mental Health Association Prince County, would be greatly appreciated.
