Albain was a proud French Acadian, known for his gregarious personality and love for his Acadian roots. He cherished the company of friends and family, often hosting impromptu kitchen parties that filled his home with laughter and joy.
Albain could often be found on sunny mornings sitting outside, watching the traffic go by while enjoying his favorite smoke. As the day progressed, he would follow the sun to the western side of his home, where he could take in the beautiful oceanfront views.
Family was everything to Albain. He adored his immediate family and his large extended family, especially the newest generation of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. His love for his wife, Loretta, was profound, and his last words to her from his hospital bed were a heartfelt “I Love You.”
Throughout his life, Albain ventured into several careers, but he often reminisced about his time as a truck driver. This career took him across all the provinces of Canada and the mainland United States, and he loved sharing stories of his travels.
Albain’s legacy is one of love, laughter, and a deep appreciation for life’s simple pleasures. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
