Obituary of Arsenault, Lisette
Lisette Arsenault (Lamontagne), 74, peacefully passed away at the Stewart Memorial Home in Tyne Valley, Prince Edward Island. She is predeceased by her parents Paul and Yvette Lamontagne and her devoted husband Arthur Joseph Arsenault.
She is survived and sadly missed by her children Marie-José Arsenault and Véronique Arsenault and grandson Sebastian Arsenault.
Lisette will forever be remembered by her sisters and brothers; Maurice (late Bertha Bouchard), Yvonne (Michel Soucy), Sylvie (Steeve Pinault), Denise (Robert LeClerc), Paulette (Ghislain Blanchette), Nicole (Bertrand Breton), Raymond (Josée Slater), Bernard (Huguette LePage), Claude (Johanne Naud), René (Diane Proulx) and Sylvain (Josée Albert), Marie-Jeanne (Gaston Couture), Iréne and André from her hometown of Rimouski, Quebec.
Also loved by many sister-in-laws and brother in-laws; Corinne Duffy (late Jimmy Duffy), Marguerite (late Glorice Gallant), Edna (late Dean Ferrish), Tony (late Christine Arsenault), Eva (late Gary Gallant), Julie-Anne (Kenny Arsenault), Bertha (Kenny Prought), René (Gail Arsenault), Marie-Hélene, Stella and Henry Arsenault.
She is predeceased by her mother and father-in-law (Marie and Archie Arsenault) and brother-in-laws Nazaire and Arsene Arsenault.
Lisette had an amazing zest for life and developed many close friendships. She remained close with her family & friends from Rimouski and will be missed by her numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and neighbors. Lisette was fortunate to have an amazing team of caregivers at the Stewart Memorial Home and we will be forever grateful to them. A special heartfelt thanks goes out to Aurella Arsenault for always being there for our mom.
A memorial service in memory of Lisette will be celebrated at the Evangeline Co-op Funeral home (Urbainville, P.E.I) on Tuesday June 22nd, and will be followed by interment in the St. Philippe et St. Jacques church cemetery.
Due to COVID restrictions, the service will be by invitation only.
