Obituary of Richard, Normand J.
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Normand Richard at home, surrounded by his family, on November 25th at 66 years of age.
Born in Summerside, he was the son of Antoine Richard and the late Denise Richard (Gallant).
He is survived by his father, Antoine, by two brothers: Louis (Diane), Clarence (Louise), three sisters: Marcella Poirier (Urbain), Alice Cummiskey (Allan), Velma Durant (Dennis): 8 nephews and nieces: Yolande (Brett), Réjean (Nadine), Mélanie (Dawson), Stéphanie (Troy), Patrick (Shania), Katie-Lynn (Jordan), Marc, Nico and 7 great nephews and nieces: Ryan, Maelle, Finley, Easton, Gracie, Maxime and Aleksy.
He now rests with his mom Denise, several aunts and uncles as well as a niece, Gabrielle.
Normand made a career with the Irving Company at the gas station across his home in Mont-Carmel and he was always a great supporter of the Mont-Carmel parish.

Resting at the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville, due to Covid-19 restrictions, a private family gathering will be held Saturday November 28th followed by a funeral service at the Funeral Home Chapel. Interment in the Notre-Dame-du-Mont-Carmel Church cemetery, Mont-Carmel.
In memory of Normand, donations to the parish of Notre-Dame du Mont-Carmel or to the Prince County Hospital Foundation, Summerside would be appreciated.
